the study was conducted to examine content that correlates body discontentment and maladaptive ingestion attitudes among 74 South Asian ladies. Participants completed measures assessing 3 kinds of teasing general look, weight/shape, and ethnic as well as thin-ideal learning, acculturation, cultural conflict, body discontentment, and maladaptive ingestion attitudes. Results indicated that each one 3 forms of teasing and cultural conflict were considerably associated with body discontentment and maladaptive ingestion attitudes. Cultural conflict was found to mediate the link between ethnic teasing and body discontentment. Neither thin-ideal learning nor acculturation was considerably related to either body discontentment or maladaptive ingestion attitudes. However, body discontentment was found to mediate the link between weight/shape teasing and maladaptive ingestion attitudes. Implications of those findings and attainable future directions for analysis on South Asian ladies square measure mentioned.
